Testimonials
  • Dave Baehr of ROCs has been extremely effective in introducing evidence based project management techniques to our greater leadership team. In addition, Dave has also “rolled up his sleeves” to work collaboratively with the clinical operations team, who are eager but inexperienced with successful project management, to tackle the “real world” issues that often derail even the most compelling process improvements.
He has been so well received within the Clinical Operations Leadership Team, that our hospice recently decided to expand his project management mentoring to other operational areas such as technology and human resources. Dave has become an invaluable member of our hospice “family” educating all of us on skills critical to our future success.

  • "... Dave was invaluable in working with the Director of Information Services to prioritize projects in an order that was attainable and that facilitated Hospice of the Chesapeake successfully migrating data storage, training field staff on field devices, and putting processes in place that ensure success in the Information Technology Department."

OIG-LEIE Exclusions Database and GSA EPLS Search Service - VigilanceTM

VigilanceTM service provides searches of the US Dept. of Health and Human Services and the Office of Inspector General's database for individuals and businesses excluded from participating in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federally funded programs, and the General Services Administration's Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) database.

No payment is to be made or contract to be entered into by any Federal health care program for any items or services furnished, ordered, or prescribed by an excluded individual or entity. This prohibition applies to the excluded entity and anyone who employs or contracts with the excluded entity. The exclusion applies regardless of who submits the claims and applies to all administrative and management services furnished by the excluded entity. There are civil penalties of up to $10,000 for each item or service furnished by the excluded individual or entity, plus Civil Money Penalties (CMPs) of three times the amount claimed for each item/service. Without VigilanceTM your agency could be forced to repay tens of thousands of dollars to the government.  Why take the risk?

VigilanceTM allows an Excel spreadsheet to be maintained with the names of individuals and businesses whom you employ or conduct business with. Monthly, or more often if requested, ROCs downloads the most current databases and searches for your spreadsheet entries.  Two outputs are returned to you: an Excel spreadsheet available for manipulation and a read-only encrypted password protected PDF file. VigilanceTM service allows for fuzzy searches which provides for a more thorough search.

$395 annual service fee for up to 25 searches per legal entity throughout the year.  That is less than $33/month.  Email information@rocsinc.com for more information.  (Hospice Fundamentals subscribers receive a 20% discount on the first year!)

Texas based agencies - the Texas Exclusions Database is also searched for a small additional fee.
