In 2006, Dave Baehr brought his years of corporate experience to the hospice community.  His strategic and tactical leadership experience in business and technology has allowed him to develop skills in software system selection and implementation, process reengineering, technology implementation, information technology department operation, software programming, team building, and continuous improvement.

Since joining hospice, David's experiences include:

  • HIPAA Security policy and procedure definition, implementation, training, and assessment
  • Portfolio, program, and project management, review, repair, and training
  • Patient Management System (EMR) selection, implementation, customization, and repair
  • Experience with Allscripts, Cerner, and Suncoast Solutions
  • IT organization, implementation, assessment, and strategic development
  • Programming of reports, applications, interfaces, and MS Office macros
  • Back-office operations review and redesign

Dave is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a degree in engineering management.
